		Home School Questions Is there financial aid for home-schooled students? Home-schooled students can receive federal student aid if they have "completed a secondary school education in a home school setting that is treated as a home school or private school under state law." Home-schooled students who meet this requirement typically do not have to take a GED. Some scholarships are available for home-schooled students. But others do require a high school diploma or GED. If you find scholarships that do require this, it never hurts to ask for an exception.
